Trini began dancing salsa as a hobby with a group of friends in hes neighborhood in L`Hospitalet de Llobregat. She began learning the Cuban style in 2003 but without really knowing the family atmosphere that salsa had in Barcelona.

In 2005 her dance partner at the time registered them in the contest held every year at "La Antilla" in Barcelona in which more than 20 couples were in 5th position. From that moment she began to dance in salsotecas, getting to know the environment and increasing her expertise in the Los Angeles style.

In late 2005 she became part of "Son del Barrio", which was a sub-company of "Salsa del Barrio", where she danced for a year in congresses in Cadiz, Jaen, Murcia, etc. and salsotecas in Barcelona such as Mojito Bar in Terrassa, La Clave, El Manisero de la Salsa in Sabadell, etc.

In 2007 she attended courses taught by well-known professors of Spain such as Emiliano and Alba of "Mythical Mambo", but this time dancing the On2 style from New York.

In September 2009 she created with Andrés Pirez an amateur company called "Cocolos" which came out on stage in April 2010 presenting their first choreography "Agárrate" which was accepted and fully-welcomed by the salsa community and clubs in Barcelona.

In 2012 Trini and Andrés joined two teachers (Marta Canals and Mura Hajaoui) and formed "So You Dance?", a new professional Salsa company in Barcelona and presented their choreography "Aquí traigo mi montuno".

From 2007 to 2015 Trini was part of the school Salsa Buena Vista in Barcelona as professor of Salsa and Bachata and from 2012 to 2015 she taught at the school El Manisero de la Salsa in Sabadell. Throughout this period of time she has also taught at other schools such as: Mojito Terrassa, Fusion Style, Gym Tao do, LaRoom and Icarus Club, among others.
