Biography

The beginnings of Eva Permanyer in oriental dance was in 2004, at the beginning as a student but later as a teacher and constantly getting training in different disciplines with great professionals such as Jasmine Ramzi or Gloria Alba.

During this journey she discovered Bollywood, which is used in the choreographies in the film industry of India and is very popular for its variety of steps, ranging from classical to folk dance including hip hop and salsa and suitable for all ages and sexes. On a trip to India Eva began her training as a teacher and has always been evolving with great teachers such as Hemant Devara, Sneha Mistra or in Bhangra with Laly Goghy and as part of groups such as “Colors d’Orient” and Balle Balle.

In order to improve the technique, she also dances Kathak dance (ballet) with Fasih Ur Rehman, awarded with Pakistan's National Dance Prize.

Eva is an active member of Kathak Barcelona Project.

More recently she has received training from Marina Salvador to teach Burlesque, very popular due to its sensual and very feminine character. Burlesque helps people value themselves and gain self-esteem regardless of size or age.

From 2007 until today she has taught Belly Dance, Bollywood (adults and children), Kathak and Burlesque in different community centers and dance schools.
